Is-Swieqi, Malta · Turkish breakfast & tost

The whole
breakfast table
until midnight.

Cafe102 lays out the full Turkish spread, presses tost on the grill all day, and brews coffee properly in the cezve — with a flat white for anyone who would rather have one. A small room fifteen minutes from Sliema, not trying to be a concept.

    The 102 Sandwich

The one with the café's name on it. Reviewers call it a must-try and say to eat it in rather than take it away — it does not survive the walk home.

The room

Small, quiet, and open late.

Reviewers describe the room more often than the menu: a handful of tables, no rush, and an owner who is actually behind the counter. It is the kind of café you end up in rather than travel to.

Where

A residential street, fifteen minutes from Sliema.

Cafe102 is on Triq Il-Wizna in Is-Swieqi — a quiet town rather than a strip. A short bus ride from Sliema and an easy walk from St Julian’s and Paceville, which is the point: you can eat breakfast without queueing for it.
